Obverse description The Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle with wings displayed, talons clutching, rendered in high relief — occupies the central field. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by dot ornaments. The date 2006 is divided across the lower field on either side of the eagle's tail, with the mint mark (MW) positioned beneath the eagle. The denomination 2 ZŁ appears in large numerals at the bottom of the field, flanked by the currency abbreviation ZŁ on either side, all separated by decorative dot borders.
