| Obverse description | At center, the Polish crowned white eagle — the national coat of arms — depicted facing forward with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a stippled field. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim, while the mint mark MW and issue year 2002 flank the eagle's lower body on either side.
