| Obverse description | The Polish state emblem occupies the central field: a crowned white eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in high relief. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination numeral 2 appears prominently in the lower field flanked by the currency abbreviations ZŁ on either side. The date 1998 is divided by the eagle's body, with 19 to the left and 98 to the right, accompanied by the mint mark of the Mint of Poland (MW) below the eagle. A ring of small raised dots borders the inner rim. |
