Obverse description The crowned Polish white eagle displayed, rendered in fine relief, occupies the central field. The date 2004 is divided by the eagle's talons, with '20' to the left and '04' to the right, each flanked by decorative dot ornaments. The denomination '2 ZŁ' appears in the lower field, with 'ZŁ' inscribed to each side of the large numeral '2'. The circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script, and the mint mark 'MW' appears beneath the eagle.
