Obverse description Central field features the Polish White Eagle (Orzeł Biały), the national coat of arms, displayed with wings spread, head turned to the right, and talons visible at base. The eagle is rendered in high relief with detailed feather work and bears a small engraver's mark below the talons. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA (Polish People's Republic) runs along the periphery, with the mint mark MW and the date flanked by two raised dots positioned in the lower exergual area.
