| Obverse description | Facing bust of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar at center, depicted in military dress uniform adorned with decorations and epaulettes, wearing the distinctive tall Qajar kulah (crown) ornamented with a jeweled aigrette and plume. A circular Arabic legend surrounds the effigy, recording the regnal year of accession (1264 AH) and the denomination and mint date. Two six-pointed stars flank the base of the bust, with the denomination دو تومان (Two Toman) inscribed below in Nasta'liq script. The milled border encircles the entire design. |
