Reverse description Central field divided horizontally by a raised linear bar, bearing a two-line Persian legend in nastaliq script denoting the mint name and the regnal year in Eastern Arabic numerals at the lower left. The upper register reads the mint formula 'struck in Dar al-Saltana Tabriz', while the lower register gives the AH date 1293. The inscriptions are set against a background of decorative floral arabesques, all enclosed within a beaded inner border and a plain outer rim typical of Qajar hammered gold issues.
