Obverse description Draped military bust of Naser ad-Din Shah Qajar facing three-quarters left, wearing the distinctive tall Qajar ceremonial hat (kolah) adorned with a feathered aigrette jewel at the crown. The effigy depicts the Shah in full dress military uniform with elaborate epaulettes, a starburst order pinned to the chest, and decorative sash. A short Persian inscription reading 'دو تومان' (two tomans) appears in the lower field below the bust, separated by a beaded inner border. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail characteristic of late 19th-century Persian coinage.
