The truncation shows elaborate drapery with decorative clasps. The circumferential legend in Latin runs along the beaded inner border of the coin. |

The date 1685 is divided by the base of the shield, with the mintmaster's initials I H appearing in the field to the right. The motto legend encircles the design along the beaded inner border. |
