Reverse description A tall, fruit-laden date palm tree rendered in fine relief occupies the centre of the field, its fronds spreading widely above hanging clusters of dates, set against a detailed landscape with buildings visible on rocky outcrops to the left and right. At the base of the palm, coiling serpents and toads writhe among the roots, symbolising envy vanquished by integrity. The Latin motto INVIDIA ASSECLA INTEGRITATIS (Envy is the companion of integrity) is inscribed in two lines in the upper field to either side of the palm's crown.
