| Reverse description | The Tyrolean eagle displayed with head turned to sinister, set within a beaded inner circle and surrounded by the reverse legend. Two distinct die varieties exist: MT#312 features a finely rendered wreath above the eagle's head with seven delicate feathers, while MT#316 shows a broader wreath with arabesque ornament and six wider feathers. The eagle is rendered in the heraldic tradition of the Habsburg Tyrolean arms, with detailed plumage work characteristic of the Hall Mint engravers of the period. |
