Reverse description Centrally placed crowned composite heraldic shield bearing the quartered coat of arms of the Habsburg territories, with an inescutcheon of Upper Alsace at centre. The collar and chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece encircles the central shield. Two smaller subsidiary shields flanking the legend divide — that of the House of Habsburg at left and of the County of Ferrette at right. The Latin legend, divided by the flanking shields, continues the titulature of Ferdinand II as Duke of Burgundy, Landgrave of Alsace, and Count of Ferrette.
