Reverse description Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head crowned individually and surmounted by an imperial crown above. A central orb on the breast of the eagle bears the denomination numeral '2·I' (2 Thalers), enclosed within a wreath or circle. The mintmaster's initials 'EI' appear in the lower field, and the date is inscribed in the legend. A circular Latin legend reading MONETA NOVA ARGENTEA runs along the outer rim between beaded borders.
