Obverse description Draped bust of Charles Ferdinand Vasa facing right, depicted with shoulder-length hair and ecclesiastical vestments adorned with decorative elements at the collar. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a naturalistic Baroque style. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading CAROLVS FERDINAND D G PRINC POLON ET SVEC, interrupted by a small fleur-de-lis cross at the top. The octagonal klippe flan frames the design with a plain raised border.
