Reverse description The reverse depicts a fully armored equestrian figure of Count Adolphus XIII mounted on a rearing horse facing left, rendered in bold high relief. The count wears full plate armor and a plumed helmet, his horse dramatically posed with forelegs raised. Floral sprigs and small decorative motifs fill the lower field beneath the horse. The composition is enclosed by a segmented Latin legend in two parts, reading across the upper and lower registers of the field, conveying the personal motto of the count. The border is defined by a beaded inner ring consistent with the hammered technique of the period.
