| Reverse description | The quartered arms of Hohenzollern-Hechingen displayed on a large heraldic shield, surmounted by a princely crown and draped with an elaborate ermine-lined mantle tied at the sides with tasselled cords; an ornamental cross appears below the shield as a badge of order. The surrounding legend, separated by five-pointed stars, reads 2 THALER * VII EINE F. MARK * 3½ GULDEN * VEREINS MÜNZE * with the date 1844 incorporated into the lower portion of the legend. A beaded rim frames the entire design. |
