The shield displays multiple heraldic quarterings including the Prussian eagle, the Hohenzollern arms, and the arms of various constituent territories, all rendered in fine detail. The outer legend reads 2 THALER VII EINE F. MARK 3½ GULDEN around the upper periphery, with VEREINS 1840 MÜNZE flanked by rosette ornaments along the lower arc. The whole is enclosed within a beaded border. |
