Reverse description Elaborately engraved nine-fold coat of arms of the House of Pomerania displayed on an ornate shield, surmounted by a crested helmet with flowing mantling, and supported on either side by two wild men (Wilde Männer) clad in helmets, a heraldic motif traditional to Pomeranian ducal coinage. The date 1621 is divided in two parts in the upper margin of the field. The circumferential Latin motto legend FATA FEREN FE PARI PATIEN PALMAM encircles the composition, with the date numerals interrupting the legend at the top.
