| Obverse description | The obverse features a central design depicting the outline map of Turkmenistan overlaid by the Neutrality Monument of Ashgabat — a tall tripod-based column surmounted by a crescent and star, rising above a domed rotunda structure. Five decorative ornamental devices, rendered in the style of traditional Turkmen carpet motifs, are arrayed around the lower periphery of the inner circle. The legend GARAŞSYZ BITARAP TÜRKMENISTAN (Independent Neutral Turkmenistan) curves along the upper portion of the coin between an inner beaded border and the milled edge. |
