| Obverse description | The obverse features a central design depicting the outline map of Turkmenistan overlaid by the Neutrality Monument of Ashgabat — a tall tripod-based column surmounted by a crescent and star, rising above a domed rotunda structure. Five decorative ornamental devices, rendered in the style of traditional Turkmen carpet motifs, are arrayed around the lower periphery of the inner circle.
