| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned coat of arms of Grand Master Francisco Ximenez de Texada, consisting of a quartered shield surmounted by a grand master's crown, flanked by ornate foliate branches on either side. The shield bears the characteristic diagonal banding of the Texada family arms with a tower motif at the base. A circular milled border frames the design. The legend, split across both sides of the coin, reads F.D.FRAN: XIME / NEZ DE TEXADA in Latin lettering, identifying the issuing Grand Master. |
