| Obverse description | The Samoan Coat of Arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield with the Southern Cross constellation rendered as five stars on a dark ground in the lower half, and a coconut palm rising from stylised waves in the upper half, the whole encircled by an olive wreath.
