Obverse description Central vignette of a three-masted sailing vessel under steam in a harbor setting, framed within an arched guilloche border. Denomination numeral '2' appears in large ornate rosettes at left and right, with the bank title 'BANCO DEL ECUADOR' in a bold ribbon across the top.
