| Obverse description | Square klippe flan struck on a diamond-oriented planchet with a beaded inner border. The legend TRAS / ISVLA / NIA is boldly rendered in three lines across the field in large Roman capitals, identifying the province of Overijssel by its Latin name Transisulania. A fleur-de-lis or lily mintmark appears above the inscription at the apex of the diamond, flanked by two small dots. The date 1619 is placed in the lower portion of the field, also flanked by dots, completing the layout within the beaded circle. |
