| Obverse description | Provincial name inscribed in three horizontal lines across the field, reading W / FRSIA (West Friesland), flanked by small rosette ornaments to left and right of the uppermost line. The date appears in the lower portion of the field below the inscription. The coin exhibits the characteristically irregular flan typical of Dutch provincial small silver coinage of the mid-to-late seventeenth century, with a milled or grained border visible along the rim. |
