| Reverse description | A floriated cross pattée with fleur-de-lis terminals occupies the central field, enclosed within a plain inner circle. The arms of the cross are elaborately decorated with foliate ornamental detail in the hammered style typical of early seventeenth-century German minor coinage. The surrounding legend, separated from the inner circle by a dotted border, carries the pious Latin motto in capital letters reading continuously around the coin. |
