| Obverse description | Central field depicts two addorsed lions sejant flanking a central motif, their bodies turned outward and heads facing one another, rendered in bold relief in the late medieval Flemish style. A decorative element surmounts the central device between the two lions. Below the lions, a horizontal bar separates the central design from an inscription in the lower segment of the field. The entire central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a Gothic uncial legend reading around the full circumference of the coin. |
