Reverse description Elaborate quartered royal arms of Spain — incorporating the castles of Castile, lions of León, the pale of Aragon, the chains of Navarre, the fleur-de-lis of Granada, and the eagle of Sicily — displayed on a shield surmounted by an imperial crown. The shield is encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The field between the shield and the peripheral legend is filled with small decorative fleur-de-lis and cross ornaments. The surrounding Latin legend reads the titles of the sovereign as ruler of Austria, Burgundy, and Brabant.
