| Reverse description | Central rectangular tablet bearing the Kohima Epitaph inscription in two registers: the upper text reads WHEN YOU GO HOME, TELL THEM OF US AND SAY, and the lower, larger text reads FOR YOUR TOMORROW, WE GAVE OUR TODAY. The tablet is framed by an ornate wreath of oak leaves and acorns. Surmounting the tablet is the Triskelion emblem of the Isle of Man — three armoured legs in rotational symmetry. At the base of the composition, a prominent Remembrance poppy in relief anchors the design. The inscription SILVER .999 appears in the lower exergue. |
