Obverse description Facing full-length enthroned effigies of Archdukes Albert and Isabella, seated side by side beneath a canopy; Albert holds an upright sword in his right hand while Isabella holds a scepter, both in regal attire. The date appears in the exergue below the throne, with the mint mark positioned at the top of the field. The surrounding Latin legend names the joint sovereigns and their title by divine grace. The composition reflects the formal, symmetrical court portraiture style characteristic of Southern Netherlandish coinage of the early seventeenth century.
