Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Leopold II facing right, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque portrait style. The emperor wears a laurel wreath interwoven with his elaborately curled and powdered wig, which falls in voluminous locks over the truncation. The mint mark 'B' (Kremnitz) appears below the bust truncation. The circumferential Latin legend, separated by raised dots, reads: LEOP · II · D · G · R · IMP · S · A · GE · HIE · HV · BO · REX, running clockwise around the periphery within a beaded border.
