| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned coat of arms of the County of Gorizia, consisting of a divided shield bearing horizontal lines and a rampant lion passant, flanked by elaborate baroque scrollwork and foliate ornaments. A royal crown surmounts the shield at the top. The rim is bordered by a toothed or beaded edge. No peripheral legend is present on this face. The overall design is executed in a bold baroque style typical of Habsburg provincial coinage of the early eighteenth century. |
