Reverse description The reverse bears a fully legible inscription arranged in five horizontal lines across the field, stating the denomination and issuing authority in capital Roman lettering: the Roman numeral II at the top flanked by rosette ornaments, followed by SKILLING, then DANSKE, then the date 1714 flanked by pellets, and at the base the mint-master's initials C W separated by a heart-shaped privy mark, all flanked by pellets. The rim shows a reeded or milled edge treatment consistent with the pattern's production at Copenhagen Mint.
