Reverse description Central field bears the denomination inscription in four lines within a beaded inner circle: II. / SKILI / NGDA / NSK, denoting two Skilling Dansk. A trefoil mint mark appears at the top of the outer legend, which reads NOR·VAN·GOT·REX·1665, identifying Frederick III as King of Norway, of the Wends, and of the Goths, with the date 1665. The lettering is bold and characteristic of the Copenhagen Mint's production of this period.
