| Obverse description | Central field features the crowned Royal Danish shield of arms, displaying three passant lions above a stylized monogram, the whole surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is encircled by a beaded inner border. The peripheral legend reads FRIDERIC·3·D·G·DAN, identifying the issuer as Frederick III, King of Denmark, by the Grace of God, in Latin script with pellet stops.
