Reverse description Crowned quartered coat of arms of the Spanish Habsburgs and Burgundian Netherlands at center, comprising the arms of Castile, León, Aragón, Burgundy, and Brabant among others, supported by elaborate foliate and scroll ornaments on either side. The regnal date appears divided across the upper field flanking the crown. The coin is struck in hammered technique, giving the shield and decorative elements a bold, slightly irregular relief. The surrounding Latin legend, reading ARCHID AVST DVCES BVRG ET BRAB Z, identifies the rulers' titles as Archdukes of Austria and Dukes of Burgundy and Brabant.
