| Reverse description | The reverse displays a stylized rendition of the Hanukkah lamp from the Theresienstadt Ghetto, depicted in relief at the center of the field. The lamp, of elongated rectangular form with eight oil cups and a raised shamash candle to the right, is surmounted by a Star of David. Below the lamp, three lines of Hebrew text read 'חנוכיה / מגיטו / טרזינשטאט', followed by the dates '24.III.1941–9.5.1945' commemorating the ghetto's existence. The Latin legend 'HANUKKA LAMP FROM THERESIENSTADT GHETTO' curves along the lower rim of the coin. |
