| Reverse description | Two standing saintly figures depicted in full length within the field. The left figure holds a book in the right hand and clasps a chalice to the chest with the left hand, attributes consistent with an Evangelist or Church Father. The right figure, possibly female, is turned slightly away and raises clasped hands in a gesture of prayer or supplication. A cross composed of five pellets appears at the top of the field. The peripheral legend in Latin identifies the denomination, and the composition is characteristic of Italian Renaissance hammered coinage. |
