Obverse description Full-length armored effigy of King Frederik I standing facing, with both arms at his sides and a mace or sword held in the left hand at thigh level. This second portrait type depicts the king clean-shaven and with a slightly younger appearance than the first type, the figure being subtly turned to the right. The Holstein arms appear on the tassets of the armor. The royal figure is partially enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin legend distributed in the outer field.
