Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Persian calligraphic inscription in bold Naskh script, disposed across three horizontal registers within the field. The legend records the mint name Bahawalpur and the Hijri regnal year 1218, identifying the place and date of issue. Graceful floral rosettes and small ornamental devices fill the interstices between lines of text, consistent with the decorative conventions of Durrani-era coinage. The hammered fabric imparts a characteristically uneven surface to the flan, and a beaded border encircles the outer edge of the irregular planchet. No pictorial elements appear; the entire reverse composition is calligraphic and epigraphic.
