| Obverse description | Central device depicts the World Scout emblem — a fleur-de-lis motif with flanking trefoils — set within a series of concentric decorative rings forming an ornamental border. The legend 'SRI LANKA SCOUT CENTENARY' arcs around the inner border, flanked by the centenary dates '1912' and '2012' at the lower left and right respectively. The inscription 'Together for a better world' appears along the upper right rim in Latin script, while additional legends in Sinhala and Tamil scripts arc along the upper left and lower portions of the field. |
