| Obverse description | At center of the mirror-polished proof field, the Russian State emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed — is rendered in high relief against a deeply frosted background. A dotted inner border frames the central device. The Cyrillic legend ДВА РУБЛЯ arcs across the upper left portion of the coin, while БАНК РОССИИ is inscribed along the lower arc.
