| Obverse description | The copper-nickel plated steel centre features the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus in high relief, depicting a sun rising over a globe flanked by wheat sheaves bound with a ribbon in the national colours, surmounted by a five-pointed star, with a scroll below bearing the Cyrillic inscription РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ. The brass-plated steel outer ring carries the country name БЕЛАРУСЬ arching along the upper periphery and the denomination 2 РУБЛІ along the lower periphery, separated on each side by traditional Belarusian ornamental motifs. |

The Tower of Kamyenyets — known locally as the White Tower — was built in the late 13th century by the Volynian prince Vladimir Vasilkovich, one of the few such defensive round towers of its type to survive intact in the region. It stands in what is now the Brest Oblast near the Polish border, a geography that left it passing through Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, and Soviet hands before Belarus gained independence in 1991. This coin is part of a long-running Belarusian bimetallic circulation series honoring architectural heritage across the country's distinct historical regions.
