Reverse description The reverse presents a boldly rendered scorpion in high relief, depicted in left-facing profile with its arched tail raised and pincers extended, occupying the majority of the coin's field against a polished mirror background. The body and tail segments of the scorpion are decorated with multiple eight-pointed stars representing the principal stars of the Scorpius constellation. The astrological symbol for Scorpio (♏) is incused in the upper right field. No legends appear on the reverse, allowing the naturalistic yet stylized zoomorphic design to dominate the composition entirely.
