| Additional information |
Part of the Bank of Russia's long-running zodiac series, this issue was one of twelve silver pieces released across the early 2000s targeting the collector market directly — none intended for circulation. The Pisces coin was struck at the Saint Petersburg Mint (SPMD), which handled the bulk of Russian commemorative silver output during this period following the reorganization of Russian mint operations in the 1990s.
