Obverse description The obverse features the Russian State Emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings spread, displayed in high relief against a mirror-polished field, enclosed within an inner beaded circle. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (Two Roubles) arcs across the upper field in Cyrillic, while the issuer legend БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) curves along the lower periphery. Below the eagle, the date 2012 Г. is inscribed at the base, flanked by the fineness mark Ag 925 to the lower left and the weight indication 15,55 to the lower right, accompanied by the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД).
