Obverse description At centre, the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, displayed with wings spread and talons visible, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (Two Roubles) arcs along the upper periphery in large Cyrillic characters. Below the eagle, the issuer's legend БАНК РОССИИИ curves along the lower inner border, flanked by the fineness mark Ag 925 to the lower left and the weight indicator 15,55 to the lower right. The date 2010 Г. appears at the bottom of the coin, and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД) is positioned to the right within the inner bead circle.
