Obverse description The obverse features the Russian State emblem, a double-headed eagle with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The eagle is uncrowned, as customary on Bank of Russia collector issues of this period. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (Two Roubles) appears in Cyrillic along the upper arc, while the issuer legend БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) curves along the lower arc, flanked by the fineness designation Ag 925 to the lower left and the weight indicator 15,55 to the lower right. The date 2010 г. is inscribed at the bottom of the field, and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД) appears to the right of the eagle within the inner beaded border.
