Obverse description At centre, the official emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle with wings lowered — is set within a beaded circle. The semicircular legend БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) curves beneath the eagle. Along the upper rim runs the denomination legend ДВА РУБЛЯ (TWO ROUBLES), while the lower rim bears, to the left, the alloy designation and fineness (Ag 925), at centre the date of issue 2013 г., and to the right the fine metal content in grams followed by the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД).
