Obverse lettering NUEVO REYNO DE GRANADA AÑO 1813.
(Translation: New Kingdom of Granada Year 1813)
Reverse description The denomination 2 REALES is inscribed in two lines across the central field, with the numeral 2 above and REALES below. The peripheral legend PROVINCIA DE POPAYAN encircles the design, interrupted at the top by a small rosette ornament as a stop. The bold milled border frames both faces uniformly, consistent with the provincial copper emergency coinage struck at Popayán during the early independence era.
