| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of King Fernando VII facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style introduced for the second coinage type. The effigy shows the king with curly hair bound by a laurel wreath, with a ribbon tied at the nape of the neck and drapery at the truncation.
