Reverse description Central quartered shield of the Royal Arms of Spain displaying alternating castles of Castile and lions of León in the four quadrants, with an inescutcheon bearing the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty at the center. The crowned shield is flanked by the two Pillars of Hercules, each entwined with a banner inscribed PLUS ULTRA, symbolizing Spanish imperial dominion beyond the known world. The mint mark NG (Nueva Guatemala) and assayer initial M appear to the left, with the denomination 2R to the right. The circumscribed Latin legend reads HISPAN ET IND REX, completing the royal titulature. A toothed border surrounds the entire reverse field.
